Section mills

Profile steel, heavy section, I-beams, rails and sheet pile are rolled in section mills.
Horizontal and vertical rolls in so-called universal stands of a heavy section mill permit simultaneous rolling of all surfaces of a steel beam. Universal stands are usually run in reversing operation.
Four-row cylindrical roller bearings, as well as double row and four-row tapered roller bearings are mainly used here.
